Journal Sentinel 2017 Top Workplaces Awards Breakfast
For the eighth year in a row, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s partner, WorkplaceDynamics, will survey tens of thousands of area workers at hundreds of small, medium and large employers in the area about a host of issues: leadership, compensation, work environment, communication and other factors that contribute to satisfaction in the workplace.
“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest,” points out Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “People often mistakenly assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits. To be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet high standards for organizational health. Having a good workplace is essential for hiring, retaining and motivating talent.”
The Top Workplaces program is open to any organization — public, private, nonprofit or government, including schools — with 50 or more employees in the 10-county southeastern Wisconsin region: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Walworth, Sheboygan, Jefferson or Dodge.
